Design of road marking machine line oriented robot
In view of the present road lineation machine in the crossed before through artificial marking,after the disadvantages of mechanical spraying. This paper presents a road marking machinedesign of the line oriented robot. The robot through the PLC control unit processing the signals of the ultrasonic sensor to control the left and right driving wheel, the speed of DC motor, therobot walking along the middle line spraying. The robot control system has the advantages of simple structure, strong stability, particularly suitable for harsh environment field operation.
Marking machine according to the marking of the materials used are divided into: cold paint road marking machine and thermoplastic marking machine. Cold paint road marking machine iscarried out at normal temperature paint, it has two types, namely the gas spraying type andairless spraying type. Gas spraying is by compressed air will be atomized, and then through thespray gun nozzle spray on the ground. No gas type marking machine is applied to the pressure of 10 to 15Mpa of paint using a special high-pressure pump, and then through the spraying gunon the ground. Thermoplastic marking machine is the hot melt paint or hot melt plastic (granularand massive two) in hot melt pot heated to use temperature, and then through the marking device is zoned to the ground. A crossed way the marking device is divided into: scraping type,extrusion and spraying type [4]. Combined with the application of the focus of this marking machine line oriented robot robot is oriented to provide marking marking machine, so the guiderobot paint spraying system might not be as complicated as spraying system marking machine,only need to meet to be able to give marking machine can provide identification markings can be.
In this paper, paint spraying system using cold plastic no gas type, namely the use of special high pressure pump and the spray gun to spray method at room temperature. Its basiccomponents are: Motor high-pressure pump, paint box, spray guns and gun control. The working process of paint spraying: high-pressure pump to pressure to the paint box, when the motor control of the spray gun to get control unit of instruction, the motor begins to work and make the sprayed coating. This system is installed in the rear part of the spray gun crawler chassis, an in line, when the robot is walking, spray painting on the ground.
Compared with the traditional road marking machine marking process, the robot has the following characteristics: first, the robot independently to find the direction of the center line,does not need manual operation. Second, the robot to road marking machine marking providemidline accurate, do not need artificial marking, greatly reduce the workload of workers. Third,the robot has the advantages of simple structure, PLC control system has stronger stability, canadapt to harsh field environment.
The innovation of this paper: PLC is used to control the system, which is suitable for harsh environment field operation, strong stability. The application of mobile structure for crawler type,can be applied to complex road conditions, mobile robot, stable performance.
